The Extraneous Zone is an informal group that is interested by nerd culture, video games, video production, and most importantly, being weird enough to make people laugh. By the power of modern-day technology, our goal is to deliver entertaining and informative content to you, the viewer.

Matt Westby

Entrepreneur, composer, video editor, and most likely the guy making sure nothing is breaking behind the camera when he's not in front of it. Matt is a founder and one of the main driving forces behind the creative process that defines The Extraneous Zone as it is today.

Peter Westby

As the second founder and as the eldest brother of the Westbys, Peter helps by being a filtration system of keeping the bad ideas out, and keeping those bad ideas in his co-founded gaming group aptly named: Bad Ideas Gaming. Peter is a co-host of "The Weekly Voxcast" and a recurring player in "A Shadow War Armageddon Campaign".

Eric Schubert

A family friend and former co-worker of the Westbys, Eric occasionally shares his plans for world domination or various references from anime. Eric is a co-host of "The Weekly Voxcast" and a recurring player in "A Shadow War Armageddon Campaign".

Connor Strommen

Connor is a member of Extraneous Zone Gaming and a recurring player in "A Shadow War Armageddon Campaign".

Alex Scheel

YouTuber and ocassional guest on various content for the Extraneous Zone Gaming.
